Showmax subscribers in the EU who’s country of permanent residence is verified, can enjoy Showmax while travelling to other countries in the EU as they would at home.

On the Showmax website, your country of residence verification status is indicated next to your country under My Account, Overview.

Where possible, we will automatically verify your country of residence using your payment and location information.

If we weren't able to verify your country automatically, you can verify yourself by providing your residential address and presenting your valid national identity document, passport, residence card or driver's licence of your country of residence, or utility bill. The utility bill should show your name and residential address, and be no older than three months. This can be done on the Showmax website, from the My Account, Overview section, or directly at showmax.com/verify. This is a secure process and your information will be deleted once processed. You need to have an active Showmax subscription before you can verify. After verifying, you may need to sign in again for the change to take effect.

Yes. If you have subscribed in your home country and are travelling within the EU, sign in then go the Overview section on My Account to start the verification process, or go to showmax.com/verify.

Once verified, your country of residence remains verified for as long as you are subscribed. If you unsubscribe, by any means, and subscribe again, you will need to verify your country of residence again. Changing payment details while subscribed will not affect your verification status.

• You will not be able to subscribe or resubscribe while travelling. This is only available while in your home country.
• The quality of service, may be affected when travelling to countries where Showmax does not have content servers.
• The following applications do not currently support service portability: Samsung Smart TV, LG Smart TV, Xbox One, and Google Cast.
